Towy Bridge Inn (at bottom of drive – 5 minute walk) Great food, which can be eaten next to the river or under cover. Full of friendly locals, it’s a great place for a pint or two, especially on a Friday night. Julie and Nick always give a special welcome to Cabin and Barn guests.
The Royal Oak has an extensive menu, including daily specials, and lots of interesting beers.
Neuadd Fawr Arms – 3 miles away in Cilycwm village – excellent Sunday lunch and evening meals (NB service can be a bit slow!).
The Castle Hotel prides itself on its gastropub reputation and can cater for a wide variety of diets even if not on the menu.
West End Café in Llandovery – the massive Sunday roasts are legendary and bring in bikers on the weekend from far and wide.
The Dolaucothi Arms Near the goldmine – serves a great selection of beers and a wide home-cooked menu.
Llandeilo, half an hour’s drive away, it has a number of excellent pubs, cafes and restaurants.
